All this, but no GPS? I guess you can always add it through USB. Still...

Yeah, without GPS this just doesn't get bought. Bad plan, Percival.

It looks like it could be made into a ruggedized version pretty easily...if they added GPS agreed.

No 3G support either...
Also, does anyone know well the VX700 runs?

Excuse me, I mean ultra-portable computing.

With all those specs, how did you even notice anything was missing?
First there was the pda, then the Nokia internet tablet. I think with this price and these features, this is damn near how I envision portable computing in the future.

Why does 1MB cost 150 dollars more than 512 of them? 'GB' perhaps?

This has several included features that people wish the Raon Everun had. But I have a feeling battery life won't be the 5-6 hours standard on the Raon. And no SSD option? Those aspects are the only things that keep me from wishing I'd have waited. Good thing that they are significant points for what I wanted. When it hits the streets there'll have to be a gizmodo showdown between the two.

@MagnoliaBoy:
the 1GB version has 60GB HDD, compared to the 30GB of the 512mb version

@pastrychef: What? No 3G support? :) You must have missed the UMTS/HSDPA part ;] It does support 3G.
For how long will the battery last??
How much for this piece of tech?
When will it be available and where? :)

I notice it just says "HDD" but no sizes. If keyshey's right, 60/30 seems very small, considering iPod's now reach 160. Also, it'd be nice if it could run Vista Home Premium/Business/Ultimate.
