Venturi Mini Car Bluetooth Hub Brings It All Together
Posted by Jennifer Hooker at 4:01 PM on November 13, 2007
The petite Venture Mini Bluetooth car hub is a combination FM transmitter, speakerphone, A2DP streamer and 12V charger. It can pair with up to four devices simultaneously and features in/out audio ports to connect your DAP. There's also a standard USB port for charging. For an improved speakerphone experience, there's a noise isolating mic. Its coolest trick is the ability to display incoming call info on your car's radio display using RDBS technology. Look for it in December for $130. [Venturi]

I live in the SF Bay Area, FM bandwidth is heavily congested here. I am unable to use the FM transmitter feature because of all the noise on every FM frequency (whether or not its in use by another radio station). Anybody who lives with congested airwaves will suffer the same fate as me.
The Phonebook Download feature only works on certain phones. It does not work on my Motorola RAZR2 V9m.
Emailed Venturi's customer service on their web site about these issues. They essentially told me I'm SOL.
I'll be returning this product since the features I wanted (and needed) to work don't work.

this is actually quite clever, there are bluetooth kits out there but they also require some wiring if you don`t have a BT stereo. This however always works. much like an ipod airport transmitter. Clever

Will it work to play my music in stereo via bluetooth and the FM transmitter to my car radio?

THIS has been exactly what I've been waiting for! But will it actually work with my iPhone?

@jetexas: Ditto! I've been looking for something like this for a (relatively) LONG time. Very cool. Also, I'm sending a ditto to the question on the iPhone.
