Touchscreened Sony Ericsson P5i Mockup Surfaces

We showed you a few sneak shots last weekend of Sony Ericsson's rumoured lineup of phones to be supposedly rolled out today, but now here's another one, and this P5i has a full touchscreen. The slider is said to be due for an intro announcement next week, and might ship in May or June of 2008. Nobody's claiming this to be an actual pic; it's admittedly 'shopped, but those who've pawed the thing says it's a close rendering of reality. Let's look at the speculative specs.
• 360 MHz CPU
• Symbian 9.3 OS, UIQ 3.2, new Touchscreen UI
• HSDPA&HSUPA connectivity
• 2.8″ VGA (!) touchscreen
• 5 megapixel camera with Auto Focus and flash
• Built-in GPS&Wi-Fi b/g
• 160 MB ROM and 128 MB SDRAM
• MicroSD/Memory Stick M2 card slot
• Weight: 125g

I love SE phones... but I don't want anything much bigger than my W810i.
The iPhone type still didn't quite got my attention.. lack of keyboard is a bitch. But Wi-fi and 5mpx cam are really interesting... I already kinda abandoned my 5Mpx Canon for the 2Mpx cam the W810i has...

When everyone starts using more uniform os for phones like android, nothing will be an I-Phone rip off, it will all be about the hardware, then we will see some serious hardware wars. I remeber when it used to be all about how small the phone is. Now i am getting ready to buy a huge LG voyager. How times have changed. I am going to tap a 5mp digital camera to the back... that makes Pb&J sandwhichs for that kid in the google phone video.

Thanks to iPhone for giving the industry a kick in the butt to move forward... also, every decent phone for now on will have to include GPS, Wi-Fi, 3g to be competitive. Competition is sometimes sweet.

I really wish they got here with the 5mp camera phones already... I keep hearing about them but nothing here has them yet. GO AHEAD COMMENT AWAY STRIDE RIGHT!
