This is a tech blog. Every day more and more elaborate technology is being revealed/invented. Why is it that everyone thumbs down the UFO idea? I'm not saying the vid is real- it actually seems pretty poor to me... but as someone who has seen with his own eyes what was without a doubt a UFO, be it terrestrial in origin or not- I've gotta say: open up dudes! @DeadWriter: I think I'd have to agree with you. The contrails seem appropriate for a 3 booster rocket system. The spiral affect at the end would appear to be the booster after it was jettisoned from the main rocket. Possibly appears brighter by being in the upper atmosphere and catching the light of the sun. Makes you wonder why the videographer didn't zoom into the object sooner as it was in flight, unless of course he knew that it was a rocket and didn't want to 'give away' the identity of the object. Still a pretty cool video. Besides that, if 'aliens' really wanted to remain anonymous, and haven't been clearly and positively identified by us yet, why would they do something like this for so many to see? It's not like with our 'primitive' technology that the military isn't able to fly over enemy airspace and not be visual detected.

That's what a rocket launch can look like. It is a UFO as it is unidentified, but it doesn't look other worldly.

One of the best and weirdest US launches I saw was one where the drone missile was detonated after launch due to safety concerns. It was a little overcast, so one could see the bright engine and then there was this set of flashes. Some bit shone brightly and continued onward until fading out. An eerie glowing plume illuminated part of the sky for a while.

Just space junk falling. It broke up into smaller pieces, and the main piece was still glowing. The swirl is just a camera defect or it could be the release of remaining gas (oxygen). Probably about 10 seconds later it disappeared and landed in some farmers back yard.
