Kmart and Target Black Friday Ads Up
Blackfriday.info has both Kmart and Target's Black Friday ads up, showing off girl's sweaters ($7.49) and eight piece luggage sets ($49 - great deal!), but what you really care about are electronics.
Well, over at the 'mart, they've got a Polaroid A801 8-megapixel camera for $US79, as well as the Wii for standard price, Guitar Hero II Xbox 360 bundle for $US59, and three PS2 games for $US8.99. Target's game list is slightly longer so we won't list them here, but their electronics deals have an Olevia 37-inch 1080i HDTV for $549, which is a pretty good price for those of you just getting into the HD game. Be prepared to fight both the cold and other cheap people if you plan on lining up for these deals. [Target via Kmart]

Captain I don't mind normal ads, they are what pays for sites. I do not however enjoy when ads decide to rollover and become bigger, blink, oh and that color thing.

"eight piece luggage sets ($49 - great deal!)"
Yeah, if you look forward to dealing with POS luggage that comes apart on the tarmac, this is a terrific deal.

I know for fact that most of Best Buys black friday deals will only be posted on line at midnight on Tursday. How do I know? Well, I am on the team that is creating the web pages...

STOP IT NOW. That first paragraph was crap, you know it I know it. It was a pitiful attempt to justify putting the actual meat of what you wanted to say further into your site. How about you just post saying "CONTENT FURTHER IN PLEASE CLICK ON THE ADS". Oh and those ads that make the site have no color and then gain it? THOSE ARE SWEET! ... oh no they aren't my bad.

@HitScan: I'm pretty sure he meant K-Mart. Compared to K-Mart, Wal-Mart is decidedly upscale!

Speaking of tallboys and wifebeaters at "the Mart"; in the area to where I have recently moved, I noticed something about the couples at the local Mart. The men are skinny as a rail with a greasy old baseball cap covering a greasy old mullet cut. Their sig other is at least 3 times as big and looks as mean as a junkyard dog. Honest!

I don't think they even let you into "the Mart" without a tallboy and a wifebeater.

Funny that you mention the old because about two years ago I fought an old lady for a $10 Bluetooth headset on Black Friday.

"Be prepared to fight both the cold and other cheap people"
At first I read this as "be prepared to fight the old and other cheap people". Bring it on, grandpa!

I love Black Friday.
I go to the stores and then lay down some puddles of baby oil near the heavier electronics (the ones that weight a bit but not so much that you go and get a sales associate). I also like to string monofilament along the DVD and CD sections and in the camera department.

@duckandcover:
I wish I could meet the person who thought up those ads that scream at you. Some annoying female voice screaming "CONGRATULATIONS! YOU HAVE JUST WON THREE APPLE IPHONES!" I'm pretty sure there's more to it, but I usually either leave the page immediately, or mute my entire system. I'd karate chop that guy right in the neck bone.

@duckandcover: That's exactly why I installed Adblock Plus myself. I never minded simple banner ads or text ads, but the pop-ups, pop-unders, roll-overs, flashing ads, error-message-spoofing ads, etc. drove me nuts. So now I don't see any ads at all.
You know what they say about bad apples...

@RalphWiggum: Umm, anybody going to an airport that still lets you on the Tarmac probably has cheap luggage anyway, right? Last time I had to go on a tarmac was at the Long Beach Airport, and that was because of an emergency, 13 years ago!

Kid's sweaters half off? Is Michael Jackson in town?

@dangj307: Actually no. Some small, exclusive resorts are accessible only from little airstrips with no jetways. So you'd see some LVs on the tarmac there.

@bigrig:
You need some recognition for that comment. Seriously funny. If I'd have been eating cereal instead of sitting at my computer at work, there would be Cheerios and 2% all over my monitor.
