Hollandia Platinum-Luxe Elite Sleep System Lets You Do Everything But
Posted by Addy Dugdale at 11:19 PM on November 29, 2007
Am I the only person who believes that beds are for sleeping in? (Please disregard the fact that I am writing this from my boudoir, but I have a hangover.) Hollandia, a company that specialises in top-end schlaffen-sites, has come up with the multi-media bed to end all beds. As well as a Sony Bravia home entertainment system, there's room for your iPod and a massage system. Let's take a closer look.
The full list of specs is this. The 32-inch Sony Bravia HDTV comes with an ambient lighting system to lessen eye strain. There's also a five-DVD/CD changer, subwoofer, iPod dock and an integrated massage system with 12 massage proms.
Covered in white synthetic fibre (I guess it's wipe clean, for obvious reasons) the bed has a fully-automated recliner system, and the famous (cough) Hollandia telescopic head support. Future models will even connect up the massager to the sound system, so that you can be pummelled away to whatever music bangs your drum. [Born Rich]

In my technological world I'd like to sleep in my bed sans electronics.
to sleep, perchance to dream...

I'm not with you on this one Addy...wait, that didn't come out right...anyway...
Bed is for everything. How else can you and your significant other cuddle up, watch a full season of The Wire on DVD, ordering in breakfast, lunch, and dinner while checking work email on your laptop, before retiring to the sweet sounds of your favorite playlist without ever leaving the most comfortable spot in the house?
*Hey...what's that ulcerous-looking sore doing there on the top of my butt-cheek?*

@skyline6: "Toilets where the water reflection is used to be a tv"

cmon... our beds are the only places that are non technological, where we can sleep and get out of the real world and dream...
Whats next?? Toilets where the water reflection is used to be a tv which reflects over the serface??
or tv's on your key board and mouse? and and i pod dock that conects in your mouse... (hey not bad idea actually) PAT. PENDING!!!
Then there gonna make a huge projector that makes the whole sky over our heads a TV...
and then make TV's inside TVs.... wait they have that already! :D

This is for people who have too much money, or $4,000+ a night hotel rooms. There's better TV's, there's better beds (try a Tempurpedic, if a burglar tried to steal mine I'd stab him 39 times with a steak knife before going back to back pain every couple days).
If you need a massage in bed and you're at the income level to afford this bed, ask your significant other for one! I just can't see locking into all these things, a flat screen plasma isn't hard to find, neither is a bed you really like. Too much of a package. If you're that rich and alone, rescue a stripper from her pole and you get a trophy wife at the same time. Put massages in the wedding vows...
