1280x800 and no LED backlight is a bit disappointing :(

No LED display in the tech specs either.

I don't see a LED display in the options. Maybe that will come later?

It uses solid-state. So why does it weigh 6 pounds?

And it seems as though the LED display is standard, unless I missed the option to add it? The option for the 64GB SSD is great, now, it would be stellar if a laptop had room for two of them.

@funtasticguy: you are way more connected on this than I am.

Good grief, can't you at least format the specs list into a nicer format? Like, say, a list?
Doesn't seem all that interesting to me. But hope this means LED backlit LCD panels will start to drop in price.

No thanks! I'm going to wait for Dell's upcoming m1340 with Intel's new Montevina processor. This platform design will be smaller, faster, more efficient (i.e. longer battery life), and have WiMax. It'll be out in 2008 Q2 (no more than 6 months from now). Can't wait!

damnit! dell offers only on display option right now:
Glossy, widescreen 15.4 inch LCD (1280x800) & 2.0 MP Camera
this is not going to make me buy it!

1280x800 is a deal breaker.
