Two Special Edition DS Lite Bundles Coming this Holiday Season

According to a leaked Black Friday ad from Sears, Nintendo has a couple of special-edition DS Lite's coming this holiday season. First is a gold, Triforce-embossed version that comes bundled with Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass which should appeal to our general readership. Next is a metallic pink version with a paw print on it that comes bundled with the two-year-old Nintendogs: Best Friends, which should appeal to your younger sister or perhaps you, but you'd never admit to it. Both will rock in at $US150 if you're willing to stomp some skulls at 4am the day after Thanksgiving. [DS Fanboy]

Does anyone know if there is going to be the zelda release in Australia? I notice that a picture of the gold ds appeared in a photo containing the special zelda case from the australian pre-ordering of phantom hourglass.

Hmmm. Choices, choices. My girlfriend annexed my red and black DS, meaning I may have to pick up a new DS.
Do I take back my red-and-black and give her a gold DS? Do I get a gold DS and let her have the red-and-black? Do we share the red-and-black because I still have my 360 and she plays the DS more than me anyway?

-but seriously, I think that has more to do with my advancing age and attitude towards gaming than any particular failing of the DS.
I just don't have the need to lose myself in gaming so much anymore. Reality has gotten quite cool and I'm enjoying it more than in the past. ;)
That being said, I can still do Enemy Territory QUAKE Wars for hours at a clip. (pardon the pun)
That's something my bro-in-law and I do a few times a week, so I'm getting my fix there I think.
As for the new colors, why not?

My Black DS looks like crap compared that that gold, I wish I could trade in my Black for the gold or silver systems.
