Tributaries Flexible Power Strip Bends 90 Degrees
Posted by Jason Chen at 4:14 AM on October 27, 2007
We've seen our share of interesting power strips, but Tributaries' PWRS-T10 has five standard outlets and five twistable outlets that give you a good way to plug in multiple large AC adapters at once. Because each one of the five slots can be twisted at up to 90 degrees, you can position them at say, 0, 45, 90, 45, and 0 degrees so your plugs don't fight. In addition, there's also coax, RJ-11 (phone) and RJ-45 (Ethernet) cables to surge protect as well. No pricing on this yet, but we're guessing it's much more expensive than the $5 power strips you can pick up at Fry's. [Tributaries]

@Musulsa: Huh, really? Looks like I'm going to have to drop by a Staples after work today.

Spiffy, but it still gets beat by the PowerSquid in my book.

Belkin has made powerstrips like these for years. This is not at all innovative in any way unless copying an existing product design is considered innovative.
You can get these common powerstrips at any Staples, Office Depot or Office Max.

It has my vote, too... with all the ways gadget plugs are designed, I still have a heck of a problem using all the outlets on a decent power strip (unless I use one of those big footprint ones that only holds 6 plugs anyway).
This is great.

I'm with Justthisguy, this would solve my "I have
more gadgets than I can plug" in problem I have going at my desk. Way cool.

To me, this is the most exciting piece of tech I've seen all year. Screw iPhones and super-tiny-mini-ultramobile PCs: I want this powerstrip.
Practical=Sexy.

all of these innovative surge protectors will still never hold a candle to my 12-outlet 4ft long power strip. simple is still the best.

Or you could pick up a two pack of ones that just have plugs that rotate at Costco. They can't cost more than $20 for the two pack.
