SanDisk has begun shipping its 8GB microSDHC and M2 flash memory cards. The company hopes that they will find a market among users of memory-card-ready mobile phones. Available now for $140 and $150, respectively. [Electronista]

This should be a good replacement for my 64 MB micro SD card for my RAZR.
Now I can enjoy more adult pictures on the go.

Anyone know whether it will work in my Cingular 3125?
If so, screw Apple, I'll get my 8GB music player & phone for $140

yeah, why do they repeatedly call it 'ScanDisk' and not SanDisk?

Aahhh, if they managed to make one that wasn't SDHC, I could have even more stuff on my GP2X than my current 4 Gb permits. You see, I had to look specifically for the lower-end, cheaper stuff in order to find a non-SDHC 4 Gb...

Now if Stevie would consider putting in a memory card slot (and a battery I can change myself) I'd consider buying his overpriced fancy crap. 8 gb's of mem means more mojo on the treadmill :^)

Well, now they need to make phones that will actually use a card this size. Currently the capacity for only select phones is 4 gigs, most phones can't even do that...I believe.

most devices still won't use SDHC yet. Be sure to check if your devices are compatible with that format.
