Microwaveable Teddy Bear Keeps Babies Toasty
Posted by Jason Chen at 10:00 AM on October 30, 2007
Why hand your kid a room temperature bear when you can hand them a microwaved bear and show them you love them as much as a kid that's not adopted? This bear, which costs $20, is specially made with microwavable components that keep it from going up in flames when nuked—something that's definitely not child-friendly. Plus, it's even coated with a "relaxing lavender" scent, all the better for keeping baby asleep so you can work on making a little brother or sister for him. [Gizoo via Shiny Shiny]

By the way, this will set a precedent that will turn out badly for your child's first pet.

I can already see the parallels to the Weighted Companion Cube.
Sorry. I just finished Portal and I'm still upset.

Stuff like this is really good if you're feeling sick or have cramps. I have something smaller for my head I use in tandem with the usual meds for onset migraines too.

I can't wait for the first parent on Ambien that happens to be holding both the bear and the kid makes a mistake.

This has been around forever! My 6 year old daughter got one when she was born, where ya been?
My 2 year old son now has it and loves it. We don't warm it up much anymore but the lavender does help them sleep and it's a really soft bear (but heavy as hell).
