Clever Water Bottle Contains More Than Meets The Eye
Posted by Charlie White at 12:30 AM on October 30, 2007
Here's a tricky way to transport whatever contraband suits your fancy. Of course, you might not be able to get this one by the TSA screeners at the airport, since they're already on the lookout for that highly explosive water that's such a horrific threat to us these days, but this clever container could come in handy for hiding your stash elsewhere. For extra realism, might we suggest putting this in the refrigerator? Kinda reminds us of that guitar full-o-coke we showed you the other day, but keep in mind that neither of these smuggling methods were perfect, because both of their creators got caught. [TechEBlog]

Would be fun to set one up with nothing in it but water and let someone get wet!

my roomate got a DUI a few years back, and had this small, odd shaped metal container full of pot, which was recorded as being a "miscellaneous automotive part". it was promptly returned to him along with all of his other possessions when he was released the next day.
i came up with a great way to smuggle shit, but i'll never tell how... it's too fucking good.

My friend has one of those. You really can't see anything in there when you try to look through from top or bottom.

If nothing else, it's the basis for a great magic trick.

You could have cookies and milk in there and they'd bust your sorry ass for STUPIDITY!

Doesn't even seem that useful. Sure, it'll work from a distance, but anywhere that your stuff's getting checked out at all, aren't they going to see the bottle from the top or bottom and know that something doesn't look quite right?
On paper, it sounds like a great idea...then the pot wears off.

Is it really safe to be hiding your drugs in that nasty sewer water?

Yea, I wouldn't recommend buying these types of "safes" since anyone can pick them up at your local stoner shop. Cops definetly know about this type of thing. If you get caught, just hide stuff the old fashion way......eat it as quickly as possible.

@jawzxy: those cops know, but for every one of those how many have slipped through?
Would never work at a airport though, they flipped the hell out over a bottle of water my fiance bought that was still sealed. Took it away only to see them drink it 2 minutes later.

That's a cop showing how it works. The cops know about this already, thus making it an ineffective transport for any contraband.

i have a can that the top was cut off put a container in the middle and filled the empty space between the container and the can with rubber cement, the top then screws back on and looks and feels completly real. keep it in the fridge and take it with me wherever i go :]]

Dammit. I read that title and was expecting some kind of tardis bottle, whereby that bottle actually holds 2 litres of compressed water, or something. Oh well...

My dad has one of those. Hese an officer. You would be shocked at all the "clever, but silly" stuff they get from people.

@Krondonian: Compressing water? That would be a cool trick, since it isn't compressible.
On Topic, this thing would be great for hiding things in your fridge... from say your girl or parents. Until they try to drink it and it never empties....
