Payittome, a Begging Website for Gadget Addicts and Other Unfortunates

11:30PM Charlie White | From time to time we get sob stories here at the Giz, where unfortunate souls are so enthralled with our gadget coverage that they just want that stuff sooooooo bad. Bad enough to beg us to post some publicity for their personal begging websites. Well now, here’s Payittome, a “wish fulfillment” website set up specifically for those grovelers, where they can paste in a pic of the object of their desire in hopes that some generous soul will come along and grant their wish. The site’s organizers are hoping advertisers will step up as the sugar daddies here, letting them bask in the glow of their generosity as they give away stuff. Good luck with that. Sony PS3 Getting IPTV, Beats Microsoft to the Punch

11:15PM Mark Wilson | After all of Microsoft’s big talk about IPTV at last year’s CES, it will be dark horse Sony PS3 that rolls out an IPTV service first. Because according to The Korea Times, Korea’s big telecom operator KT will provide its HD Mega TV service to PS3s starting this November (better late than never). Since Mega TV is already IPTV based, the PS3 could be considered a set top replacement, with a potential monthly savings on box rentals that could subsidize the game machine in a sweet way over the course of a few years. But with no exact details or pricing info, we’re getting ahead of ourselves. Still, KT is excited about the potential of working with Sony’s platform through the future, promising, “We will seek more cooperation with SCEK to create synergy.” Hopefully it’s totallyunbelievablyawesome and US services will follow. Sagem Porsche P’9521 Phone Looking Good in Amsterdam Grope Session

11:15PM Charlie White | The Sagem Porsche P’9521 cellphone has resurfaced after its initial intro we showed you last June, and this time there are clean and sexy pics along with some first impressions from LetsGoMobile. The phone will be available sometime before Christmas exclusively at The Phone House for a Porsche-like price of €1200 ($1685). Egads, that would be a helluva Xmas present. The Amsterdam grope revealed a “tight, stylish design based on aluminium and glass,” and the phone was said to have a “beautiful design.” See for yourself. Even though it’s thick and heavy, its spec list is otherwise fairly standard. But weeee-doggies, check out that cellphone porn. More »

After starting manufacturing last May and …

11:14PM Jesus Diaz | After starting manufacturing last May and unveiling it in July, Boeing is now saying there is going to be a six-month delay in Dreamliner’s initial deliveries. Sorry airlines and anonymous billionares, you will have to wait. [Boeing] More »

Sprint LG Rumor Messaging Phone No Longer Just a Rumor

11:00PM Wilson Rothman | Sprint clearly didn’t want Verizon enV users to have all the messaging fun: the LG Rumor looks about the same size as the latter-day enV, with a slideout QWERTY keypad. Features include 1.3 megapixel camera, (new?) Sprint POP3 e-mail client, Bluetooth, a MicroSD card slot and GPS with Sprint Navigation. The catch, if there is one, is that this isn’t an EV-DO phone: it runs on the older 1XRTT voice-and-data network only. You can use it as a cellular modem, though it will cost you extra and will only deliver 1X speeds. And unlike the enV, this 0.7″-thick Rumor doesn’t come in green: just black n’ blue or white n’ silver. It’ll set you back $80 after 2-year agreement and $50 rebate. More »

Toyota i-Real Concept “Car”

10:40PM Mark Wilson | We were pretty excited about this Toyota concept “car” called the i-Real, Toyota’s successor to the way too sci-fi to be real i-Unit. Just hear the pitch: it’s a car the wraps around your body, allowing you to zip through life with little encumbrance from mortal legs. Meanwhile, when going at high speeds, it will leave an upright position and allow you to lean back, increasing stability and cutting back on the face-first into the wall factor. It seemed like the better Segway because of its ability to cut the bullshit and haul arse as necessary. But alas, the i-Real only goes 18.6 mph, making it little more than the coolest wheelchair on the block. Hit up jalopnik for a full photo gallery. [jalopnik and uberreview] More »

Clarion’s Car Stereo Comes in White, Gives you 728 Shades of LED

10:24PM Addy Dugdale | Clarion’s new car stereos are definitely aimed at Eighties aerobics teachers with permed highlight — the type that wore Reebok Jazz trainers and carried their gear in a Head sports bag. With an FM/AM tuner and CD player, the DUB275MP connects to your music player via the USB port, and will also let you connect a Bluetooth dongle. Apart from selecting any of the other 727 shades of LED, should you not fancy the peach, non-aerobics fans can revel in the fact that it comes in a more manly color: More »

Floating Computer-Controled LED Show Calls for Ocean-Sized Mario Bros.

10:15PM Jesus Diaz | Designer Seung-Jin Lee has decided to that it will be a good idea to put LEDs embedded in tubes to make them float on the water. The objective is to control them with a computer and make beautiful shows for concerts and the like. Fine by us, as soon as he connects it to a MAME emulator to do a San Francisco Bay-sized Donkey Kong. Check the pretty perspective after the jump. More »

Doctor Who Dalek Sec Hybrid Voice Changer Mask is Deliciously Disgusting

9:34PM Addy Dugdale | So, it’s official, we’re bored by Star Wars gear (yeah yeah, hate mail to addy@gizmodo.com.) Chen is championing Star Trek (yaaaaaaawn) and with there being a lack of BG stuff — you know what I mean: Commander Adama dolls with realistic commando-parts; Cylon toasters, Starbuck frack-wear; Gaius science kits; Raider croissants; Number Six Real Dolls — it’s evident that what we need is Who — as in Doctor. Is this Dalek Sec Hybrid Voice Changer Mask better than an Optimus Prime Helmet? Of course it is. More »

Windscreen Wiper Mirror Clears Your Post-Shower Views

9:19PM Jesus Diaz | Clearly designed after a five-hour hot shower trying to recover from a night of tapas and drinking spanish wine, this windscreen wiper mirror will eliminate the steam from the glass and make it clear enough to see the effects of your hangover. Retro style, absurd, almost surrealist and absolutely irresistible. Too bad it’s just a concept “Made in Spain” by Barcelona design group Causas Externas. [Gizmodo Spain] More »
