I got given information which said that HSUPA and HSDPA 7.2Mbit are coming next week. However, the plans for the faster speeds are around $89 for 1GB including HSUPA.

This would be great if we were in the US where bandwidth was practically free, but here in Oz with our ridiculously high bandwidth costs I just don’t care.

So what with all these speed! Their data charge is just ridculous. $59 for 200MB vs 3’s X-series plan $20 for 500MB. What gives???

Well thats great now all we need is for it to be affordable.
I work out in the bush a lot and needed the coverage, but as far as price goes on the internet connection I wont even look at it.
It would be nice to remotely connect to the internet at night but at about $1 per meg it just isnt worth it.
Yes it can be cheaper in prepaid packs but still I would much prefer to settle for 512k internet at a fraction of the cost...
