Guitar Hero for Mini Mes
10:10AM Seamus Byrne | If your manhood is less than 2cm; (yeah, I went metric on you), chances are your hand span is not too great either. Help is not far, Frodo, as XFPS have entered the niche market with their super-tiny Guitar Hero controllers. Not only could this possibly be the cutest accessory to date that didn’t have the Hello Kitty branding across it, it will also brighten the little lives of all those in Middle Earth. Screw the ring, throw this around your neck friends and rock on! Though it may at first seem to be somewhat of a gimmick, these tiny guitars are expertly crafted from real wood and the whammy bar is genuine metal, no less. The controllers are fully functioning with backlit buttons and are currently available for the PS2 and XBOX 360 at $69.90 each. The XBOX 360 version isn’t compatible out of the box; you’ll have to invest in an adapter. The price of small time gaming, unlike the size, will be daunting to all but the most serious enthusiasts. WACOM Urinals, Disturbing Even if Fake
7:50AM Seamus Byrne | At first glance, the self-explanatory “WACOM” urinals seem like a good idea. Featuring a built-in LCD display, hands free operation, and the romantic musk of blue sterilizing cake, all the elements are present for those special times when a man needs his…relief. But then you notice the monitor is displaying a child’s drawing and you begin to worry for society, yourself, the guy who did the Photoshop and the poor souls at Adobe who probably feel like they were part of The Mahatten Project II. Jellio Lite Table, Candy For Your Brain
7:00AM Seamus Byrne | Jellio might sound like the name of a super addictive confectionary that in surplus will give you the mother of all stomach aches. Rest assured that it is in fact the company behind the very chic Lite Table (their spelling, not ours). The table comprises the solid structure base with 100 large acrylic pegs inset; the pegs can be rearranged to live out your wildest acrylic peg rearrangement fantasies. As if that was not enough to satisfy you, the magic happens when a small light source is placed under the table. The light shimmers through giving you the feeling that perhaps magic mushrooms won’t be needed to reach your oh-so euphoric high. When you come round to your senses and realise that you’ve just spent $600 for the said privilege, you may, however, reconsider your recent drug-free decision. A shame then you’ll have no money left over to indulge your sorrows. [jelio] More »

Sony’s Jack Tretton Talks About UMD, Rips Movie Studios
6:21AM Seamus Byrne | Many of us expected the a new PSP to have on-board storage to allow for a less UMD-reliant experience for music and gaming. In this clip, SCEA President and CEO Jack Tretton tells us what’s gone wrong with UMD, and more importantly, how Sony plans on reviving the struggling PSP media format. He sorta lays the smackdown, so it’s worth a watch. The only hole in his logic seems to be that Sony prices UMDs fairly high as well. [kotaku] More »

Fossil Analog/Digital Goes Both Ways
5:00AM Seamus Byrne | This bi-chronical watch from Fossil has a hard time explaining exactly what it is it does to its parents thanks to its dual analog and digital face. The left side is analog, reading numbers in a vertical configuration, whereas the main chunk of the rest of the face has two hands and tells time in an analog fashion. Does this look cool? Definitely. Will you be totally confused if you accidentally change one time to be slightly off from the other? You bet. [Fossil via Fossil via Technabob] More »

Gibbs Humdinga Destroys Land and Water
4:20AM Seamus Byrne | If the Gibbs Aquada BoatCar isn’t quite manly enough for you, Gibbs Technology’s newest vehicle should do the trick. It’s the Humdinga—presumably a Hummer and a dingy combined—which is the size of an SUV and has lights enough to match the toughest Transformer. The thing goes from 0-60 in 9.2 seconds on land (which isn’t that shabby), and goes up to 40 MPH (knots?) in water. It’s just a prototype for now, but something like this should be more suitable for the military than the Aquada. [Product Page via Trendhunter via Treehugger via Sci Fi] More »
