Phone companies always do this. They create these awsome plans then realise its not finacially feasible for them. I had Voda do a similar thing and then had to put me on a better plan the the one i signed for simple because their 'system' couldn't handle the one i signed.

Marketing really need to start talking to accounting

crap! this sucks. i noticed this a few days ago and even turned back to gizmodo to confirm and voila, i see the post now. this SUCKS. australia really needs to learn from the UK and USA about broadband and data charges, they have uncapped and unlimited broadband offers. who would use a 3G connection (okay maybe HSDPA) with only a 1 gig limit per MONTH for their home connection? i mean i browse 1 gig a day i think! and the maximum i've downloaded is 40 gigs in a day. Look at optus, offering 400mb of downloads a month :s. insane.

All im looking is for a 3G plan that i can use to make Voip calls with fring on my N80. I'm currently on optus but im thinking of changing to 3 and taking their x-series.

I still cannot beleive they can get away with charging this much for 3G data plans. $10 for 300mb is still 10 times too much. Makes me angry enough to kill kittens.
