I hear on the grape vine that they are going to couple Verey I with an sms alert so u get the message on your mobile as well. I dont see your FOSS offering that Penguinister. Also do your FOSS supply video footage? Verey I seems like a very capable add on? I know a PDA store that already seels the PDA and mobile version with good feedback.

I like the verey's ability to pick up nearby wireless network to pinpoint the location. Best if it can send hidden sms like its mobilephone and pda antitheft softwares. That be a blast!

That code will eventually get going here again. With our limited local resources, it just hasn't been a top priority. It will come back, though!

Meanwhile, I've fixed your linkage.

This is why the US gizmodo setup is better, you can see your links in real time so you can avoid typo's

I use DynDNS and DDClient, there are lots of howto's on the web even some extra scripts to add more functionality. Although to be honest a good backup (I have it automated)regime and insurance is the best bet, because they may just reformat the hard disk and never connect the machine to any network before hand.

Share some links, penguinister. Everything I've seen before does nothing to give me added confidence in getting my computer back. Is it for Mac or for Windows that you're talking about?
