R/C Sumo Wrestlers

Curse my speedy metabolism, for I will never be an effective Sumo wrestler. But now at least I can live vicariously through these little R/C sumo’s. You get your very own ring, two wrestlers and two remotes. Now all you need is 10 AAA batteries and you’re ready to wrestle.

On another note, during the slow-motion scene at the end of the video did anyone notice anything strange about the sumo’s feat? Yeah, weird.– Ben Longo

New Details on the Asus C90 Notebook

As laptops notebooks get closer to becoming a viable desktop replacement, one factor limits them time and time again. Upgradability.

And like we told you a few months ago, Asus has heard the call of the modder and is releasing the first truly upgradeable notebook-the C90. What we didn’t know is that it won’t even come with a hard drive or a processor. That’s right, Asus has such faith in your bargain hunting abilities that it scrapped two of the most integral parts of the computer. Not only that but they also have included Turbo Gear software to let you over-clock whatever processor you decide on, up to 20%.

This truly could be the next mobile gamers wet dream/nightmare depending on what parts you go with, to get started it will cost $US950 (If you trust Red Barn Computers Prices).– Ben Longo Asus C90 laptop announced [PC Launches]

Arcade Basketball: Captain Insano Style

All we can do after watching this kid play arcade basketball, beyond picking our jaws up off our desks, is apologise to our parents for wasting their money at Chuck E. Cheese. We obviously didn’t fulfill the potential of the game and could have won whatever crappy toys we ended up throwing away three days later with much greater efficiency. – Ben Longo

Hands-on With Moshi’s CODEX MacBook and MacBook Pro Laptop Cases

We’ve been testing the CODEX laptop cases for the MacBook and MacBook Pro for about a week now and it’s actually quite good if you need something to carry your machine—and only your machine—from place to place.

The cases are coated in “Viscotex”, which feels like a combination of vinyl and plastic and has a brushed metal look to it. There’s a detatchable handle and a little holder for your IR remote, and can actually be used as a case while your laptop’s in use.

Dealzmodo USA: $10-Per-Month DSL From AT&T

It seems Uncle Sam is looking out for those of you in AT&T’s 22-state landline service area. If you have never been a customer of AT&T or BellSouth broadband, you are entitled to an unadvertised $US10-per-month DSL service.

The deal is part of a concession with the FCC—AT&T had to agree to offer it for two and a half years when it bought BellSouth. The bandwidth isn’t super sweet, at 768Kbps downstream and just 128Kbps upstream, so not a whole lot of juice for gaming, but the price is equal to dial-up and can blow that away.
