MadCatz PS3 Wireless Thumbpad Makes Typing Less of a Chore

Everyone who's had to enter in their name, email, and address when signing up for a PS3 account knows how baby-drowningly-awful their on-screen keyboard is. Now with this $29.99 wireless thumbpad, you can at least get some kind of stopgap measure that doesn't require you to have a full-sized wireless keyboard in your living room at all times.
Plus, now with PlayStation Home coming soon, you're going to be doing even more text messaging on your PS3. Better stock up now if you want to be typing at more than three words per minute.

Definitely a must have PS3 addition. Trying to type anything on that thing always brings on a sudden urge to hurt someone.
Should work on the 360 too (if you don't feel like shelling out for the keyboard attachment). Or even a HTPC...
Will it really work on 360? PS3 is pretty open with their third-party hardware support, but 360 not so. I suppose it is using its own wireless dongle, and wireless has been the big issue on 360. The product page is specifically PS3, though, so for now that is that.
I think I prefer where the thumbpad sits on the new 360 keyboard anyway - under the middle rather than up top. It's a good fit. But if you have both and this did support both, it would be a pretty solid option.
